About Rick's

We offer quality repairs with years of experience on all makes and models.

Located at 418 S Victory Blvd, Burbank, CA 91502, Rick's operates as an auto repair shop serving Burbank in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 9 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (818) 452-9330. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is ricksclassicmusclegarage.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 33 reviews, which is a strong result for an auto repair shop in Burbank and suggests consistent service.

Burbank is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Burbank follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Finding a shop you can trust with a rare classic car isn’t easy, but Rick’s Classic Muscle Garage exceeded every expectation I had. I entrusted them with my 1968 Shelby GT350, and from the very beginning, Rick and his team were professional, honest, and excellent communicators. They set realistic expectations, kept me updated throughout the project, and delivered exactly what they promised. That level of transparency and customer service is becoming increasingly hard to find. The project took a little longer than originally anticipated, but that’s simply the nature of doing high-quality work on a classic car. I would much rather wait a little longer and have everything done correctly than have a shop rush through the job. In the end, the quality of the workmanship made the wait completely worthwhile. The attention to detail throughout the entire restoration was outstanding. They installed a Borgeson power steering system, added a Vintage Air A/C system, replaced the tires, upgraded the alternator and battery, replaced the fuel pump, reconditioned the interior seats, and completed bodywork on my hood scoop. Every repair and upgrade was completed with care, and the finished produc

Rick and team service and restore 6 of my hot rods. I can’t speak highly enough about him and the team. By far the best hot rods mechanic and an amazing human being. Best work, best prices. Go see the kind of cars parked at his shop and you’ll see.

Rick’s Muscle Garage in Burbank has quickly become my go-to shop for my 1970 Ford F-250 Sport Custom. I walked in without an appointment with more than a few projects out of my depth, and despite having a waitlist, Rick and his team still made my truck a priority that same day. So far they’ve handled a tune-up, radiator replacement, front brake disc conversion and rear brake job, Saginaw power-steering swap, and more, and every single job has been turned around insanely fast without sacrificing quality, all while offering extremely fair pricing for the level of expertise. Communication has been excellent throughout, the whole crew (techs and front desk) is genuinely kind and easy to work with, and the pricing is insanely fair for the level of expertise and speed. It’s been difficult to find a shop around Burbank that doesn’t drag projects out for weeks or months and is this transparent about the work, the pricing, and expectations. Rick and his team obviously care about what they’re building and who they’re building it for. Can’t recommend enough to anyone in the lower valley.

They did a ton of work including a full wiring harness install, replaced all the locks, ignition, And keys. These guys are top of the line. Price was right, very professionally done and kept it to a quick schedule. Definitely my go-to shop from here on out.
